Nobody knows how the AI story ends

Every day I log on to LinkedIn, check my email, or watch a video, and it's a never-ending barrage of one of two things. Either "AI is killing jobs and ruining the economy, and it's going to take over the world and kill us like Terminator." Or the exact opposite: "AI is the most groundbreaking technology of all time, it's going to revolutionize everything, and if you're not into AI, buy this course, yada yada yada, it's the absolute dream game breaker." Frankly, both of these positions are exhausting. Here's what's true. We're in a technological revolution, and it could be a bubble, or it could not be. People are pretending they know. Nobody has any idea. That's a little scary, but it's also just the truth of what's going on. So skip the experts. Look at the technology, bring it into your business, and see if it actually benefits you. Does it save you time, or let you do something you couldn't do before? If it does, double down and keep going. If it doesn't, move on and check back later. And stop reading and consuming all of this slop from supposed experts who believe they actually know what they're talking about. They don't.
